Bug Bones is a rules-light TTRPG about insects going on adventures and exploring vast, bleak, and mystical fallen Kingdoms of bugs. It was made specifically for the world and lore of Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight.

This game is heavily based on the Unofficial Hollow Knight RPG by HKRPG Team (with which I'm affiliated as a full member), but it also draws influence from many OSR- and NSR-adjacent games such as GLOG, Mausritter, Into the Odd, Cairn, and Knave.

In this game you will find:

• A flexible d6-only dice pool system.
• A freeform character creation system with 36 traits to mix and match.
• Streamlined procedures for exploration, dungeon-crawling, and combat.
• GM resources to aid in creating your own bug Kingdom and populating it with dungeons to explore and creatures to interact with.
